Step by step process in contested divorce

Hello Experts,

Please let us know the step by step process during contested divorce.

1. Petitioner files the petition (My wife filed under 13 i a)

2. Respondent files the counter (I did).

3. Mediation (We attended mediation.. it failed)

4. ???

10. Judgement - divorce decree

Could you please help us filling point 5 thru 9.

Also learned lawyers can also specify the time limits for filing of Reply to Interim Maintenance applications and Main Written Statement as many a times if the respondent defaults in meeting the deadlines the judges pass orders without considering merits of the case

Hi Kalaiselvan sir,

I have engaged a lawyer to represent me. The case status is - we went for mediation and it failed.

Just wanted to get experts thought on what is next.

Experts will be having different thoughts, but as far as the procedures are concerned , it is routine which your advocate will be to explain you better in person should you approach him.
