Start of business

My self employed in Govt of India and my wife is employed in a Private COmpany (US MNC),both are mechanical engineers.

We are planning to start a business (Training centre for Mechanical Engineers).

Please advise in whose name we can register the business.

Your question is not clear about whether you plan to quit your current jobs? Or what form of business you intend to register? A partnership? a Private Limited Company?

Please specify these for a better, more tailored, response.

Dear Sir,

both me and my wife dont want to quit our present jobs.

It is a technical training academy (Academy of technical education),Which imparts theory and software training to Mechanical engineering students and passedout graduates on Saturday and Sunday.

Some times we may give the same training to corporate companies also , for a short time like 2 or 3 days.

Please suggest us what type of business we can start?

My father inlaw(Wifes father) is a retired govt sector employee (Opted VRS ten years before).Can we register partnership between my wife and my fatherinlaw???
