Stamp Duty payable on execution of agreements

is stamp necessary for liaising agreement. parties are in tamilnadu & gujarat? if yes , what amount is applicable. pls reply

Sir/madam,

where are these General agreements to be registered, is it with the sub registrar to be enforcable in courts?

SOCIETY ISSUE,

WE LIVE IN A SOCIETY IN MUMBAI.

THE SOCIETY KEEPS RAISING MAINTAINCE BILLS ,THAT WE HAVE STOPPED PAYING AS WE FEEL THESES ARE MADE UP BILLS AS THERE IS NO EXPLAINATION FOR THE SAME...

HOWEVER WE PAY THE SOCIETY OUT GOINGS ON TIME.

CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT ACTION CAN THE SOCIETY TAKE ON US AS THIS IS  A CIVIL MATTER, WE WILL DEFINATELY KEEP A LAWYER FOR OUR DEFENSE, BUT WHAT CAN WE DO TO PROTECT OURSELVES?

WE APPRAOCHED THE SUB REGISTAR WHO DID NOTHING.
