What is the stamp duty to pay in court for recovery suit. I gave 3,00,000 to my friend and he signed in a stamp paper. What is the stamp fee for this? Because my lawyer who I found in my local place here in Chennai is aking me 20,000 for stamp fee and says like 8,000 for one lakh. Is it true?
