Staff Selection Board has released notification for CGL 2015 exam. In which cut off date for age eligibility has been increased from 1 Jan to 1 Aug. In all past recruitment cut off date was 1 Jan.Due to this Many Students who are preparing for exam, are not eligible now. Thousands of students career is on stake like me. As per rules and logic ,cut off date can't be changed since it is annual exercise. Please suggest me what can be done.

I am one of the victim. Every year in SSC recuritment,1 jan was Cut off date.But this time they changed it to 1 Aug.Due to this aspirants between 1st Jan to 31st July lost their valuable chance.As per DOPT rules and guidelines No .AB. 14017/10/€l7-Estt. (RR), It should be 1st Jan. Please suggest what should be our next course of action.

If advertisement has been changed arbitrarily the the same can be challanged in CAT.
