Can any one help me in understanding whether women can claim sreedhan after the 18 years of marriage when both hubby & wife residing alone in different city and that too they both earned by their own effort nothing with them when they left their original city.

it seems your marriage is alive with no divorce she can claim her streedhan is her property.

she can claim only her jewellary.....rest what is remaining in ISTRIDHAN----furnitutre...clothes...I hope it might be destroyed

stridhan can be claimed by the wife anytime,
streedhan is her property . and can be rightfully n legelly claimed by her.

Without proper bills she can not force you to give anything.

After 18 yrs she will get broken wooden pieces and scrap iron parts as stridhan. Do not worry and face the situation.
