Special marriage act

Respect forum member, kindly advice me in the following situation, a hindu boy and Hindu girl had solemnized their marriage under special marriage act, now they want to get divorce, when i approached the district court for filing the divorce the judge had return the petition with a endorsement that how this petition is maintainable when both are Hindus when i coated the section 4 of the act, he says that notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force relating to the solemnization of marriages, it only for person marring from different religion. i am expecting kind advice from the forum member

I agree with the judgement,

A marriage with two major's a hindu boy and a hindu girl read with sec-2 and sec-5 will be goverend by HMA 1955 and not by special marriage act.
