There is nothing wrong if there is just a proposal. But it was an acceptance or demand for such action on a promise made by you in the past and deriving advantage over such promise she has compromised on such issues, you may have to defend yourself against such actions. Contact a local advocate and take precautions as you are aware of the facts. There are several questions to be answered as to why she is asking you alone to marry and subjecting you to suffering.

If you have made any promise of marriage for s*xual relationship, then you can be charged with criminal offence under the IPC.
If you do not intend to marry, it is best to go to your nearest police station and file a "complaint" against that woman.
If she in future tries to threaten you in any way, you will have the advantage of this "complaint".

There is no such law which can protect you but what you can do is to file a police complaint against that woman. In the near future, if she tries to threaten you, you can use that police complaint in your favor.
