God is Great (Executive)     28 March 2013

Society rights

Hi,

my society is thinking of redevelopement and some procedures are going on. Now, my secretary and chairman who themselves are not the actual owner of flats (wife owners) are acting as secretary and chairman and put a notice on notice board without any meeting that "No one should sell / buy / rent a property in the society without their permission".

Is it valid ??

what action can be done ?

Please guide

technically no one can complete the transactions of selling or buy the flat/shops in the society unless the NOC of the Society is received by the seller.

Further, they should not be doing this arbitrarily as it is wrong and the society memebrs may call a meeting and thereby replace the secretary and chairman by forming a new committee.
