Society issues

Hello All,

I am member of a co-operative society. We are facing issues with the builder and next society.

1. The society neighbouring our society has leakage problem in STP and water flows in our society near drinking water tanks. Multiple complaints to society has no impact.

2. Builder has installed gas pipe in building but refusing to allow the Gas vendor for connection. Gas vendor says request for connection should come from builder.

Could you please advise.

Make a complaint to gas agency/ service provider, the society availing gas qua leakage and wait for a day thereafter issue legal notice to the society, gas agency (service provider) as well as builder to rectify the leakage, wait for about a week and institute a suit for permanent and mandatory injunction through a local prudent lawyer, if there is no positive response.

For STP leakage problem, if the other soceity is reluctant to rectify the issue, you can make a complaint against the society with the local civic body and request for proper legal action against them.

For Gas service provision, the service provider cannot ask you to obtain a request from the builder once the buiulder has handed over the apartments to the society.

You can make a complaint against the gas agency to the concerned Gas company/corporation about this and request them to direct the gas agency/dealer to provide proper service.

After that you can resort to legal recourse.

Thank You for your response.

Yes the society has been formed for two buildings however one of the building is still under builder and the conveyance deed is still not done.
