Society formation/registration

Can I purchase or get home loan approved for a resale flat in a 5-storey building in Kolkata, where even after 14 years the society has not formed and/or  registered?

Yes you can purchase a flat even if society is not formed or society is not registered.

registeration of soceity is no criteria for loan, your flat should be in approved category from local development authority. there are other formalties too, you can consult concerned bank

u can go for a loan, the Bank will scrutinise the documents before giving you the loan, so not an issue
