Societies Registration Act

Can any one tell if a society registered under the Societies Registration Act can form a wholly owned subsidiary or will they have to go under Sec.25, Companies Act (i.e. get coverted into a company first).

Thanks

Nature of Society and other particulras are not in detail -

The societies are constituted for Charity Services  /Edcuationals/ Social Services - with out any  profit -and the promotors will under take to serve with out any profits an with out any remuneration - under the Societies Act .

All the matters  of th Societies will be regulated under the Socieies Act .
