I am planning to start a small Dry cleaning / Laundry business in Ahmedabad.
I would like to know following:
1) Do I need to register my business? where ? what is the procedure?
2) Do I need to get any permission from any Govt Authority? (e.g. Pollution control board or so)?
3) Do I need to get any certificate from my DryCleaning facility?

in my opinion it is not necessary to take any permission to start the business.

This type of similar query has already been replied in this Forum. You need a Trade License and should be under Shops and Commercial Establishment Act .

Further to what Mr.Rajesh has said, Dry-cleaining business may require use of infllamable liquids like Petrol etc, if I m not mistaken. You may need to obtain a Licence for carrying and storing the inlfammable liquids. You may check up on this so that you dont get into any problems later on due to accidents etc.
