Slum affected by road widening project.

Hi, We have a slum in the main road and the upcoming road widening project is affecting our house. We have been asked to submit the documents, we have electricity bill from 1988 which is in our grandmother name till 2000, later which was made in father name... Adhar card, voting card, etc

1. What are the required documents?

2. What is the minimum area that should be alloted to PAP units.

Quick Summary
Residents of a slum affected by a road widening project are seeking guidance on necessary documentation to prove their claim. They've been asked to submit documents, including old electricity bills, Aadhaar, and voter cards. Advice suggests that while electricity bills may not be sufficient proof of title, sale deeds, rental agreements, or tax receipts in their name would be stronger evidence. It's recommended to consult the relevant authorities for precise documentation requirements and information on minimum area allocations for Project Affected Persons (PAP) units.

Electricity consumption bill is not a proper document to prove your title or possession.

If you have a sale deed or pagdi related rental agreement, or any tax paid receipts in your name , you can produce them to establish your claim for title.

It is better to contact concerned authority and seek proper advise qua document(s) to prove your possession and area.
