THERE.CITIZEN OF STATE AND THE CITIZEN OF U.S.AFROM SECURITY POINT OF VIEW

DUAL CITIZENSHIP WILL BE ADVISIBLE TO CONTROL AND IDENTIFY THE CITIZENS

AND THEIR HOME STATE. EVEN FOREIGNERS WHO ARE ILLEGALY OVERSTAYING

IN INDIA WITHOUT ANY OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS CAN BE TRACED.COMMENT ON

EXHISTING LAW PROVISIONS AND AMMENDMENTS REQUIRED.

India's dual citizenship permission is long awaited. In my view, the security problem cannot be addressed by mere introduction of documents. Unless corrupt officials are punished properly, we can not tackle the problem of illegal immigrants. People are holding multi-ration cards and voters identity cards. One can even get a passport in a false name by bribing the officials. Recently, a high official of passport office was arrested at Chennai on bribery charges. The investigation is still-on and it was reported in the newspapers that even ministers's PAs are also into this racket.
