Simple mortgage cancellation limitaton

Sir

I had purchased a Flat with Simple mortgage in the year 2005 in force. . Today we are in 2021, how can I close the mortgage deed without the Mortgagor - is it barred by limitation

Please say can we get it done from the court under limitation act

Quick Summary
This discussion explores how to cancel a mortgage deed from 2005 when the mortgagor is unavailable and the borrower/lender are unknown. The user is seeking to understand if the Limitation Act can be used to close the mortgage deed through the courts, as they wish to cancel the entry without contacting the original lender. The possibility of obtaining a 'Reconveyance Mortgage' deed is also mentioned.

Now the mortgagee shall execute a "Reconveyance Mortgage" deed in your favour.  Did you pay the interest till date?
