Shop Ownership

Hi All, Need a advice, I have a rented shop which was under my dad's name since last 35 years and the agreement was also prepared under his name. He passed away on July 11th.Application to transfer the Ownership was submitted on 24 the August. The application was rejected. I have received a notice to return the shop by 30 sept. Please advise how do I proceed in saving my Shop Kr

since the tenancy was given to the tenant i.e. your father, Hence there is no bounding upon the landlord to transfer the tenancy of the shop in the family members name.

You need to sit with the landlord and speak about transfer of tenancy of the shop and pay some transfer fees (to the landlord) as mutually agreed.
