Share split when second co owner is deceased

Myself as 1st owner and my late father as 2nd co owner have physical shares that we recently discovered Can i ask the Company RTA to separate the total shares into two portions the 1st portion totally owned by me and i will claim and the   2nd portion owned by my late father for this part i will arrange for NOC and claim surrender from other legal claimants Can we really ask the Company RTA to do this partition of share holdings

Yes you can by giving a death certificate and arrange NOC and NOC expires in 6 months . So you can ask the Company RTA to do this partition of share holdings .
