In absence of will, a daughter is having equal right to possdess the property of her ancester as a son have.

Yes. After amendment off Hindu Succession Act in the year 2005, a daughter is entitled to equal share like a son in all types of properties left behind by father or his ancestors.

Yes Refer the Ammendment of 2005. Daughters have equal right as that of son.
