Share certificate in co-operative society

Dear Sir,

A premises was purchased by 3 co-owners but the membership of the society is in an individual's name who was one of the 3 co-owners. He has since passed away. The original Purchase Deed is not traceable.

Kindly in form that if the Deed of Purchase Agreement  of a premisesis not traceable, does the name on the share certificate give right of ownership to the member and his heirs only? What is the status of the other 2 owners?

regards,

Yes because other do not have any proof of their co owner ship.  I advice to get the copy of the purchase deed from the sub registrar of the area after paying requisite fees.
