I am looking out to setting up an E-Commerce company either through sole proprietor ship or through partnership. Would like to know the legal requirements which needs to be adhered to before venturing in to the business. Following are the assumptions currently and queries pertaining to that:
a. Having a E-commerce shopping portal - does it need to be registered with any govt. body?
b. Would be either having a local logistics (for home delivery of products) or sign up with any courier company... what legal formality need to be completed?
c. If the option of having self logistics is exercised, what kind of taxes need to be paid if the delivery is to happen PAN india?
d. Is a approval from a govt body required to store the products in a warehouse? Does it need to be registered?
Request your inputs w.r.t. my queries...also request you to please guide me with any other formalities that I need to follow which I haven't asked you here explicitly.
