service matter

Court verdict is stoppage of 5 annual increment with cumulative effect but service left 2 year's

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses a court verdict concerning the stoppage of five annual increments with cumulative effect. A key point of confusion is how this applies to an employee with only two years of service remaining. It's suggested that such a severe penalty might not be applicable in this scenario, and alternative consequences like demotion or pay reduction could be more appropriate for grave irregularities. Further clarification of the full facts is needed.

Your query is not clear.  In which case by which court? I think,  if an employee is having only two years of service, then 5 cumulative increments cannot be stopped.  If the case is a grave irregularity, then the employees' rank/designation reverted to a lower post or his pay will be reduced. So state full facts.
