Seperation/divorce

What does the family law say about seperation/divorce. I am not staying with my wife since April 2011, purposefully she had filed 498A against me and forcibly kept all my assets and property papers and I had also filed 406 against her very recently.

Now, my question is what is the exact period (years/months) of seperation is required to get divorce by default or law treats it as divorce by nature without filing or with filing divorce. I don't want to file divorce but I by nature it sud treat divorce legally.

Pls help....
