Self studying law student, allow me to add the following to your query self studying law student'

and if the wife has a child who is minor and still have to go a long way to build his/her career

This query has not been answered by anyone, but many would like to know the opinions of legal professionals. If entire property is willed to the parents of the husband, what happens to his child's rights?

The separated wife who has not remarried after obtaining divorce can definitely claim maintenance from her parents-in-law out of the income derived from the property of her former husband.
