separated/divorced

respectedSir/madam, myself NAVDEEP SINGH would like to know that I separated from my wife with mutual consent. I need legal document for some official purpose. I don't have aadharcard of my wife.
what kind of separation document it would be, which papers do I need? I will be thankful to you.

Quick Summary
If you have separated from your wife by mutual consent and require a legal document for official purposes, it's important to understand the difference between separation and divorce. A legal separation document is typically obtained through a court decree if you are formally divorcing. If you are simply living apart peacefully, you may need to request the necessary documents from your wife directly, especially if you don't have her Aadhaar card.

if you mean divorce then be informed speration does not mean divorce; If you want legally to be divorced you need to file for that in the ocurt and get divorce decreed though mutually. and that will be your document.
