A women separated from her husband since 8 years, in her child school application form mentions- In Marital status of Mother- Where in she mentioned SEPARATED.
Whether does it implies in legal terminology that 'it amounts to Divorce?'
(She filed a DV case against her husband ,and judgement was husband favor. Now the she went to Session court.)

There is no legal term called as 'separated' in the marital status, so it cannot be termed as divorced.
