Section 302 ipc

What are the grounds on which a quash petition under section 482 of the Cr.Pc be filed if the trial court has taken on record a report of the investigating officer in relation to an offence u/s 302 IPC?

Hello, Mr. Behal,

Ur question is ground for quashing in 302 IPC. The only ground could be is only this that even after going through chargesheet ,there is no evidence against the petitioner and he has been falsely implecated thus facing of trial wil be abuse to the process of law.

Thanks a lot Mr. Jatin for your response. One thing more that I would like to ask is if the charges have been framed, what would be the more suitable remedy in the High Court, a criminal revision or a quash petition under 482?
