Sarlary reduced without notice and papers

This issue is been faced by my yelder brother in his organisation. Salary Decreased with a proper justification.

He works in a small IT company in Siruseri, working for 3 years and 6month now. He was hired as a contract 3 years bond, if at all have to resign before this 3yr have to pay conpensation. During this 3years he was payed less, due to his hard work and top performed he got this permanent letter and very good Hike on completing 3 years. His pay increase from 2.6L to 4.Lakh for 5 members of this team, for others it is little less. Due to seniors questioning the management how juniors can be given big hike, management to sort this issue, From the next month onward they have decreased the salary without prior noice. HR of the company called and said you and your 5 members salary is hike by mistake so we have to reduce it, till now there is no reviced letter is issued.

He has emailed his manager and HR tried his best effort seeking justice. without a proper justification and reason reduce the package all of a sudden and not issued re-revised hike letter also. and they have not replied to any email which he has sent to the HR. HR speak in person saying nothing can be done, it is a my mistake please accept my apoligize and he is not ready to reply to email. Please advice how we can proceed further, how to approach for this issue.

Escalate to good offices of appointing authority, MD, CEO, Chairman in writing under proper acknowledgment with a copy to you.

The wage hike can not be withdrawn.

The employer is unworthy of being employed with. Firm up your next venture ASAP.

Stay away from employers that ask to sign BOND and pay frugal wages during BOND!

You should provide full information, pointwise!

Was any letter or atleast a salary slip issued showing hike?

What is this establishment registered as: Commercial,Industrial?

What is its line of business:IT,ITeS,banking etc?

How many maxmimum persons are employed in it at any point of time?

The Redg Office,Corporate Office of the company, and your reporting office was located in which state?

What was your designation and nature of duties?

Do you have leave policy, HR policy,Service Rules and Regulations,Conduct and Discipline Rules that are mentioned in the appointment letter, and so called BOND?

The BOND was created in lieu of what: some certified training paid by employer from some certified Intt. That added to your qualification or some extra ordinary favor and expenses from employer? Do you have a copy of this BOND? Has the BOND been extended?

Have you submitted original educational certificates and some security cheque also?

Have you registered with NSR/NASSCHOM and shared the PIN with company?

Was any appointment letter, salary slip of each month,PF number with a/c slips,ESIC card,Form16 given to you?

If you resign,  tender notice of resignation,  in writing under proper acknowledgment (followed by letter under acknowledgment or by Redg. Post) , and mention NO tasks are pending at your end and to whom you should handover the charge? Obtain acknowledgment of notice of resignation.

Are you a member of any employee’s/Trade Unions?

What was your monthly salary?
