Samati patra/deed of confirmation

I want to register deed of confirmation by legal heirs to sale deed( registered 9 years back) full stamp duty paid at time of sale deed, but at present the sub registrar is insisting to pay full stamp equivalent to sale deed value which is to high, can said (samati Patra) deed of confirmation registered with nominal ₹500/- stamp- case is from maharashtra

Quick Summary
This discussion concerns the registration of a 'Deed of Confirmation' (Samati Patra) in Maharashtra, relating to a sale deed registered nine years prior where full stamp duty was paid. The sub-registrar is demanding full stamp duty equivalent to the sale deed value, which is considered too high. The user seeks to register the Deed of Confirmation with a nominal stamp duty of ₹500. Advice suggests consulting a local lawyer for professional guidance and exploring an appeal to the Collector against the registrar's decision.

What do mean from the connotation "Deed of Confiramtion"?

It is advisable to consult  a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/documents, professional guidance and necessary proceeding.

An appeal could be made to the Collector against the directions of the Registrar.
