RTI for FIR

can we file an RTI for a particular section of IPC and it's FIR data lodged untill now? and if yes what the FIR data will be consisting of?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores the possibility of filing a Right to Information (RTI) request for specific sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and associated FIR data. It suggests that you can indeed file an RTI with police stations, requesting details like the number of cases lodged under a particular IPC section. The process involves paying a fee and waiting for the information, with station-wise requests potentially simplifying the procedure.

That is  how you want to put to task some cruel uniformed men, you know even it will take your best part of youth to fight daemons; Anywys just file for RTI and  demand the number of cases filed U/S 332 IPC or whatever you desiere and pay fee , wait till you get the information, You can file RTI Police station wise  that will make task easier for you and for them too
