Rti

Respected Lawyers and Members of this forum,

I have a following query,

Is husband signature required while filing for the passport?? Myself and my wife are staying separately and not in talking terms. I i recently got to know from my elder brother that she had called him sometime last year to inform that she has applied for passport and has forged my signature (Which i m assuming for Annexure 'D') as we don't have marriage certificate. Is it legal?? Please let me know can i file a case against her??

I want to know how i can file an RTI regarding the same?? can i ask for her passport form under RTI to substaniate my case in the court of Law??

Please help this is urgent... Thanks in Advance

No, husband's signature are not nessary as she has her own identity. She can ask for passport as a citizen of India. There could be column in application form and she could have stuck it.
