Role of a labour law advisor

Hi :)

Greetings to all. I am a final year management student, majoring in HRM.

Can anybody plz brief me up on the role of a labour law advisor in an organization.

A few examples of specific companies will be useful.

Dear Rajesh,

A labour law advisor in an organisation specifically deals in labour related issues. He is just like a catalyst bewteen the employer and the employees. His foremost duties include compliances under labour law various statutes E.S.I, Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Workman's Compensation, Maternity Benefit, CLRA Act etc.,
