Right to private practice

This depends on service conditions prevailing in the state.  If that doctor is drawing non practicing allowance, he is not supposed to take up private practice.  However in several states, Govt. Hospital doctors are opening clinics and even writing on the name plates that they are the Govt.Doctors.  You can make RTI Application to the concerned authority that employed the doctor and can seek information from them in one sentence.."Please provide me copy of the circular/order that enables the Govt.Doctors to simultaneously practice in clinics:.  Follow RTI Rules and regulations applicable to that public authority.
