Right of daughter of divorced wife

divorce took place in 2001. Minor daughter's custody was given to mother. No alimony or maintenance expenses were claimed in compromised divorce. The divorced girl has not remarried. Her husband has married and has one son. Whether the major daughter can stake claim to the ancestral property of his father??
