Please advise on the following:
1} Zero Assessment u/s 143(3) was done for the AY 2008-09 on 31.3.2010
2} Reopening notice u/s 148 was received on 30.1.2014 by AO of AC Rank with the permission of CIT
3} Return copy was filed with reasons for Reopening before the AO by the assessee.
4} Reasons for Reopening were received from the AO on 11.3.2014
5} Objections for Reopening were filed on 11.4.2014
6} No Reply for the objections nor any other communication was received from the AO till 01.02.2015.
7} Jurisdiction got changed
8} Notice u/s 143(2) r.w.s 129, received from New AO on 02.2.2015
The reason for Reopening were on the same points whose details were duly and fully submitted during the time of Scrutiny Assessment proceedings. The AO had verified all transactions, staisfied himself and have then passed the Zero Assessment order u/s 143(3).
Please go through and advise whether the above case is FIT or UNFIT for Reopening. How should we proceed further.
