The Original Landlord passed away 5 years back. after that nobody has come to collect the rent. Recently a man is claiming to be the new landlord but we don't have any authentic proof of he being the new landlord. He has put a board on the outside wall. We are scared as they are Muslims and come with 5-6 body guards.
Want to know where we can pay the rent if it's not being collected from 5 years.

Keep entire rental amount in a separate deposit account with a PSU bank and issue a notice that rent is being apportioned, and on the production of such legal heir certificate as a record to the tenant, the rent will immediately be remitted to the claimant as per legal opinion.
