I rented a flat in may 2010 ,it was done on an stamp paper of rs 20 only . now I am purchasing a bike at kolkata where this has to be produced as an adress proof , but it should be of rs 100 stamp paper only , kindly advice me quickly what should i do?
1 can i renew it on 100 rs stamp paper?
2 can i attach a stamp paper of 100 rs to the present agreement.
3 it expires in april last but i need the papers now or loan sanctioned will go vague.

You can put a fresh agreement and made a clause that the previous tenure is still on going. But renewing for one year.

1- Yes you can renew agreement on Rs. 100 Stamp Paper [Rent deed is agreement between parties and any agreement should be on rs. 100 non-judicial stamp paper]
2- No, stamp paper should be of the date [or prior of date] on which you entered into agreement.
3- Half of april has gone and duration of your agreement is almost on end. You should now create new agreement for a term less then one year.
