My sister's husband was murdered and burnt so identity of body was doubtful .Police had given belongings through which we identified .It has been 3 years now and we are thinking of her remarriage.
But Death certificate we are not able to get from as police has not conducted any DNA test to prove the identity.
Now is there any alternative that we can opt for her second remarriage so that legally there is no problem afterwards as we are unable to get death ceritificate

Closure of file may take another 5 years as case is complicated.
Also remarriage cannot wait for such long time.
There must be any other way out so that sister can remarry as she has kids to taken care and family formation is necessary.

move highcourt and ask for status report from the police on this case and get a direction to police to finish the formalities. without the case being closed it is not advisable to get into new marriage.
