Relieving letter not given due to asset submission

I work in a well established MNC.
I resigned from the company during lockdown and had few assets in company locker.
I couldnt submit them as I had no access. After lockdown I dont have ID access to get the device and submit them.
Hence my company is refusing to give me clearance and relieving letter.
They are not allowing me inside to get the devices from Locker.
Also I am not getting any option of settlement for assets as well.
What should I do?

Quick Summary
An employee is struggling to obtain their relieving letter from a well-established MNC because they cannot return company assets stored in a locker. Having resigned during lockdown, they now lack the necessary ID access to retrieve the items. The company is refusing clearance, and no settlement options are being offered. It is advised to formally inform the company in writing, via registered post and email, about the situation and request access to the locker to return the assets and finalise their account settlement.

Have you informed the Company that the assets to be handed over are in your locker and unless you are permitted inside you shall not be able to open the locker and return the assets?

Send a letter informing the facts requesting access to locker to enable you to hand over the assets and get your account settled. Better send the kettr by Registered post acknowledgement due. Send a scanned copy by e mail.

It is MNC and have sufficient email id . So better to put your grievance to the concern authority . once they not respond to your mail then send all by register post or speed post .

No legal dispute / issue is involved in the facts posted by you.

Your access to company has been blocked since you have resigned from the company.

Hence the next thing you may have to do is to  write to the company about the difficulties you face to access your locker held in the company to enable you to handover the company's assets held by you.

You send this communication by registered post or by courier service and wait for their reply, if their reply is not in your favor then you may resort to serve them a legal notice mentioning ll the details and demand your dues to be settled immediately
