Release deed for property after divorce

My wife and I are divorced a few months ago , we had a property in our joint name but was not mentioned in the divorce settlement. Can i execute a release deed by paying her a sum for her share which comes to about 3 Lakhs.What is the tax/stamp duty implication for that

Sir,

U can Released ur share in favour of your Ex.wife. First u have check, how much circle rates and Stamp Duty of that state in which ur property comes. Because every state has different circle rates and stamp duty.

For e.g. In Delhi there is 3% stamp duty.
