Respected Sirs,

Que: Can a women get into a relationship (non-physical & not a live-in, an engagement) with another man after filing a petition for divorce (mutual) with her husband?

Que: How long does a Divorce case (Mutual with both parties have the same lawyer) take to come to a judgement?

The 6 months cooling off period is given to give a second thought to the decision of divorce, so that the parties can change their mind. However if the parties have finally decided to part ways, there is no harm to see prospective brides / grooms and fix the marriage during the cool off period and get remarried after the second motion when the final decree comes out. In MCD the second motion will take place after minimum 6 months from the date of first motion.

For your first question No, any kind of relationship such as physical, living together without divorce will be consider as adultry, however in your case there is no physical and live-in only engagement.  Since you have filed case under 13-B so please wait  6 months, after this you can marry directly.   In case if your present hubby comes to know about your engagement with other person he can challenge this and file case against you.

Even though they have filed for Divorce, Husband can file Adultery case against her new husband if he has sufficient evidence to prove

Pal!

Queriest has made very much clear that non-physical+ no live in relationship. Read

"Que: Can a women get into a relationship (non-physical & not a live-in, an engagement) with another man after filing a petition for divorce (mutual) with her husband?"

So how come one assume that the queriest will enter physical relationship with new man, reveal it to the previous hubby n become a sitting duck for him to fire.

Assumptions wont lead to a gud discussion when queriest is clear about the vision he/she is asking for!
