Whether registration and insurance is mandatory under the Motor Vehicles Act and Central Rules for DEMO VEHICLE ? If not, what if accident takes place while test driving the demo vehicle ?

Regn., is mandatory and it is better to insure the vehicle. If in case of accident and iiird party inures, then ins., co., will be held liable.
