Registration

Can I register a property with part payment of the actual transaction value? In simple terms, I am ready to sell a property half of the sale value now and the buyer agrees to pay the remaining after 2 years. I don't have any problem and i am ready but does registration can be executed?

Quick Summary
This discussion explores the possibility of registering a property when only a portion of the sale value is paid upfront, with the remainder due in two years. While the parties may agree, the legal validity of such a registration is questioned, with a strong caution that sale deeds executed without sufficient sale consideration are considered void. Professional legal advice is recommended.

Is it a time pass query?

I am willing to buy under such terms, if the property is located in Delhi, do you agree.

It is better to consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for proper analyses of facts / documents, professional advise and necessary proceeding.
