Regarding permission from bank

Does Bank Permission is required for 6 Months DCA(Fundamental,MS Office) which is not a regular course & only the basis idea of Ms Office is provided with computer fundamentals?Also one has to give 30 min/1 hour of duration any time at the coaching institute to be get awarded the certificate by the certified coaching institute.Also,for the above said DCA course it has no relevance with job regarding promotion or in any other areas related to my job.
