Regarding nps contribution not deposited

i resigned from an autonomous body (after serving one year, as temporary employee) under central government in 2013 giving a month's notice, although i did not get acceptance and relieving letter. My New Pension Scheme account not been opened and my contribution still lies with the employer. Is there any legal remedy?

"my contribution still lies with the employer." What is the source of this information? if so, who is keeping it?

Venu Sir, I already mentioned that my New Pension Scheme account has not been opened, at least i have not signed any form/ document pertaining to that, so I do not have Permanent Retirement Account Numer (PRAN).

Also, the dealing staff confirmed the same, though orally, that the amount deducted towards NPS from my salary,  is reflected outstanding in Annual Accounts.

But i have filed RTI for the same and waiting for reply

There are extent guidelines of deduction and deposit.

If violated the employer is liable.
