Dear Querist,

Do you bear any evidence, that shows that he has taken 80 sovereign of gold.

Who has WRITTEN (I mean the handwriting) the Challan?

Suggestion:

Try to record his demand where he stated “to sign a document agreeing that your mother has got all 80 sovereign of gold and not to file any case against him”.

When the matter is still under investigation by police, produce all that evidence to prove innocence.

Sudhir Kumar, Advocate (Advocate)     01 February 2017

your mother and sister being govt servant are duty bound to report the fact of arrest/bail to the deptt in writing.

if custoyd exceed 48 hours the employee is deemed suspended from service.
