Sir i have taken a credit card and from axis bank and after an year annual fee bill was generated. I ignored it and after 3 months I called to the representative to cancel my card as I cannot pay the fee. But they disagree with my request and started adding penalties and it became 8167 rs now from 590 rs starting bill. Due to covid 19 I lost my job and I'm unable to pay still now. A suit was filed on me. I didn't gave any cheques. Is there any danger for me. How could I overcome this sir? Please tell me sir
you can show the receipt or email that indicates that you have requested for cancellation of the credit card service, there is a minimum period for which you have to use the credit card, if it is not there, you can approach the court to challenge the charges.
