Regarding booking amount refund from builder

I have booked a flat of amount Rs. 51000/- but due to personnel problem. i cancelled the booking of flat. In this regard i contact the builder to builder regarding refund of money , they told money will be return after 2 month of amount Rs 40000/- out of 51000/-. so please the advice to immediately return the money
