My friend wants me to appear in the court n give the statement that they are residing in my house as they want to file case against a person who lives in my city.Following r the IPC's

4} 354

I dont want to be procecuted for this. would i be procecuted if i give fake statement in the court n if yes then which IPC would be used against me n how long would i be sentenced.Kindly reply me ASAP
