Refund of token amount

I had paid Rs.10 lakhs token amount to a company for purchase of a flat belonging to them in Mumbai through cheque. I received acknowledgement letter of the same from the company. Both parties did not sign any MOU. However, immediately after paying the token amount, I decided not to go for the property as I found a better option and requested for a refund. The Company secretary has been dilly-dallying me. Is it possible to get token amount back from the company legally? If yes, am I eligible for a full refund?

Hi,

U write a letter to Company for refund of full amount and attach money receipt OR bank statement, and wait for them answer if they not give any response u give a notice for that.

Dear sir, Thanks for the prompt reply. Please advise if, due to no MOU between the Company and me, a refund is my right or a favour from the Company. What is the legal stand on this? Thanks.
